rapture 0 Posted June 10, 2001 This was taken at Mt. Alisan, in Central Taiwan where travellings and tourist alike flock to see the sunrise there. On Good days you get to capture a Cloud of Sea below you, on bad days there would be no sunrise and a wasted trip. Bad days seem pretty frequent. Good days are a blue moon. This is a Better than Normal Day. I made the Climb from the foot at 0300am. Made it up on the 2500m Mountain by 0500am. Waited and hope that there would be a sunrise since weather conditions didnt seem good. Thank God it came and didnt waste the trip. This was after the dawn and after the sun went up into the clouds and suddenly when i was ready to packup, beautiful rays come shining through, i just had to stand and admire them, believe me it was so beautiful using the naked eye, so before the senses got better of me i bracketed a couple of shots and here it is. MZ-7 with tripod, Tokina 28-70mm f2.8 ATX-Pro @ 70mm at 1/60 using Fuji Provia 400F. Kindly Critique. Thanks. Link to comment
slcmarco 0 Posted August 13, 2001 Your trouble paid off with a nice view and a great picture. Having the tree tops in front help give the composition a sense of depth. I particularly like this type of views, lights coming through clouds over mountains. Link to comment
