pablowarko 1 Posted August 19, 2020 I really like how the horse in the rear looks, Brian. It appears to be trying to catch up. The out of focus figure adds tension and drama. The horse in front has its nostrils flared and the legs moving at a rapid rate. I really appreciate this image because it is so well done. Congratulations on creating such a memorable picture. Best regards, Paul. Link to comment
Brian Murphy 74 Posted August 19, 2020 Thank you Paul, This was a bit of a lucky shot I guess. The story behind my horse photos is, there is a thoroughbred horse farm not too farm from my home that has Friesians and two Arabians. I would go there with carrots 9I had the caretakers permission) and the horses would come running when they saw me. This is the first foggy weather photo I ever took so just plain luck I guess. But now unfortunately the horses are no longer there. The farm owner passed away and the horses were transferred out. There are other small horse farms in the area but the settings are not the same. This place has trees, a pond, nice fence, etc. The others just have a corral with no nice landscape at all, just open land. Thank you again for your support. I have a lot to learn. Link to comment
tom1909 430 Posted September 17, 2020 Love the movement and drama. The lead horse appears to be eye-balling the lens. The crisp foreground and the framing trees give the image a lovely perspective and composure. Link to comment
Brian Murphy 74 Posted September 18, 2020 Thank you Tom, It was an unforgettable morning. There was not wind, cold, crisp , and foggy. Actually a very comfortable and rewarding way to start the day. Unfortunately my subjects are no longer there due to the farm being sold. Link to comment
Brian Murphy 74 Posted January 20, 2021 Thank you Larry, I wish the horses were still there. The farm was sold and horses moved to another location. Link to comment
