eclectic image 0 Posted December 1, 2003 Another attempt at people. This is a friend of mine with a very expressive face. In all the years I have known him I think this is one of the only times he hasn't been smiling (and this was not for real) Anyway, comments, criticisms and general observations very welcome thanks Mark Link to comment
the grey house 0 Posted December 1, 2003 Mark, you've captured quite a character here - very good portrait - menacing eyes - hope you didn't upset him ;-) Link to comment
cierra96 0 Posted December 2, 2003 This is a very very good picture, not only is the camera angle perfect, it was also well chosen as it helps bring out his sinister look (to me atleast), even the hand rolled cigerette adds a touch to this picture, great job.. im taking notes!!!! =) Link to comment
earl_hubbard 0 Posted December 2, 2003 Great Shot! Your friend should audition to be the new Freddy Kruger. He is very scary (in this photo), indeed. I am glad that i am not going to bed for several hours, yet. Thanks. Earl. Link to comment
eclectic image 0 Posted December 2, 2003 I am going to have to stand up and protect his character. You could not hope to meet a nicer guy !. This was a moment of madness that I happened to capture...there are more to follow of other friends so beware !. thanks for the great comments Mark Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted December 3, 2003 Mark, this portrait is very well done...my eye is drawn to his. I love the way the left side of his face fades into the black background. Link to comment
allanjensen 0 Posted December 3, 2003 Very good expression, makes me think of big charisma. Link to comment
gudermane 0 Posted December 3, 2003 I would be curious to learn more about this person...He looks like an obsessed artist..like Van Gogh...or like mad Piero.. :) How far (or maybe close ?) is it from the truth? Link to comment
eclectic image 0 Posted December 4, 2003 I have to say neither. But an expression can hide a persons real self. Link to comment
philip_hartlieb 0 Posted December 4, 2003 perfectly framed. it completely avoids the hammy nature of most ecclectic portraits...i believe the wide eyed look in this case...nice. Link to comment
sogeri_pilpoil 0 Posted December 4, 2003 Excellent balance of contrast, with the eye perfectly fixed, close to the character shown. Very well done :-) Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 1, 2006 One of the best character shots I've seen lately. Very well done. Link to comment
