tomczak 0 Posted December 1, 2003 I will appreciate any comments on this slide. It was taken in one of the temples in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Many thanks. Link to comment
kenthansson 0 Posted December 1, 2003 Can´t think of anything to improve. The combination of colors and movement, still giving an expectation of stillnes thanks to the two not moving monks in the middle. I like it, a lot. Link to comment
atkphotoworks 0 Posted December 1, 2003 I like the sense of motion and movement of colors. Link to comment
chris_conrad 0 Posted December 1, 2003 Very interesting shot--great colors, and terrific exposure for the subdued light! I attempted some similar exposures in Nepal a few years ago. Unfortunately I did not take a tripod into the temple and my shots, while well-exposed, are a blurry mess. The sharp fore- and backgrounds make this work very well. cc Link to comment
davidm_ 0 Posted December 1, 2003 Very nice "motion" picture. One I would have liked to take. Link to comment
patricia_eifel 0 Posted December 2, 2003 A remarkable image with a great directional flow and a very well chosen shutter speed. Link to comment
davidnoeledwards 0 Posted December 2, 2003 Stands out as thumbnail quite dramatically from all other photos on the page, even before the subject is known. A strongly appealing image. Link to comment
marios pittas 0 Posted December 2, 2003 I think Budhist monks are a common subject nowdays, but you have managed to captured it from a new angle with a lot of power and movement.. Well done! Link to comment
nicolasray 0 Posted December 3, 2003 I agree with Pittas, not your usual stereotypical Buddhist Monk photograph - very somber and quiet. This print has a lot of movement...it's very exciting to view. Great capture, great colors, and the lighting is spot on. Link to comment
alan chan 0 Posted December 4, 2003 I like the blurry effect, the colour is punching. What perhaps is lacking is that of a central focal point - would be good is one of the monk is sharp :) Link to comment
