tasting the flower

the insect seems too centered...otherwise a very interesting shot,the way the muted colors of the flowers compliment the sky and the bug stands out it makes me think of some a larger animal grazing on a hillside

A bit of Photoshop work can add life to this image. I redistributed tones to add more emphasis to the petal structure (curves tool) and added a bit of saturation (Hue/Saturation +10).

I am reposting with a suggestions I got from the forum on how to get

more people to look at my photo - many said say nude.

beautiful photo- The bug really stands out against the muted petals- I agree that the composition is too center weighted- perhaps more negative space on top, or the bug off center to the bottom right.

 

This is one of the most seductive NUDE photos I have seen posted here in quite a while!

 

I really like the angle you chose. As Andy stated above the angle makes it look like the bug is on a hillside. Nicely done.

(I'm commenting without reading other comments first) Well,the bug is pretty much smack in the middle of the photo. I thinkI'd have tried to put him off center. Even though you used therule of thirds with your horizantle line, the sky (?) above theflower is not very interesting. I think I might have tried toget in a little closer, put the bug off center, and eliminatethe sky entirely. Something like this:
