Autumn pearls

Well performed! It is a pleasure to watch those dew drops, especially at three o'clock portion. I am wondering if you were thinking about focus stacking in this particular case where the whole dandelion head is in focus?

thanks for your interesting comment! No, now that you mention it, I wasn't thinking about focus stacking here at all. I do use this technique from time to time (e.g. in product photography), but I guess I see this subject as a world of its own that is better presented by well-defined details nearby and OoF parts behind them, giving the image a kind of dreamy look. Your suggestion is not only valid however, but thought-provoking as well. It would be a different image for sure, but I'm certainly going to keep it in mind to try on a photo like this (if there is no or little wind). Kind regards, Vincent

thank you for your friendly comments! Yes, this was quite a delicate scene with lots of beauty. The image has been cropped considerably. B&W seemed the better choice here. Kind regards, Vincent
