the grey house 0 Posted November 28, 2003 Stunning - unreal and all the usual protestations...You have done a wonderful job with this. The mode and original photograph is obviously very good. The post production work is quite simply amazing. Many congratulations an a really great image. Link to comment
rolli.tronco 0 Posted November 29, 2003 Very nice. Could you explain what you did in PS to get this beautiful graphic effect ? Link to comment
Timo Hartikainen 556 Posted November 29, 2003 You have created a beautiful image, that's true, but the result is a little bit too "digital" for my taste. I would also like to see the unmodified photo. I think this could be a good portrait without treatment, too. Link to comment
bob_pictaker 1 Posted November 29, 2003 I agree with Timo. This looks like a very nice photo of a very beautiful woman, but the PS treatment has become the subject of this image in my eyes. A more subtle approach might be better. Link to comment
dougityb 0 Posted November 29, 2003 It looks like airbrush art so I can't say I like or dislike it as a photograph. Link to comment
robert goldstein 0 Posted November 29, 2003 I like this effect very much. How did you create it? Link to comment
jonathon 0 Posted November 30, 2003 ...but that's kinda the point, its got a pop art feel. The sort of thing I'd want to take of a girlfriend and hang up in our house at around 30" x 30". Excellent work. Link to comment
dougityb 0 Posted November 30, 2003 I agree, Jonathon, but saying you like it, or saying you dislike it bears no relavence to photography because what we're looking at is too far removed from photography. It may have started as a photograph, but it didn't end up as one. Link to comment
davidnoeledwards 0 Posted November 30, 2003 True, it's not a photograph. It's simply an image that I enjoy looking at. But if it started out as a photograph, I'd like to know about the technique involved in its transformation. Link to comment
justinc 0 Posted November 30, 2003 Portraiture isn't normally a subject that interests me,but when I saw the thumbnail appear,I couldn't help but take notice. I think this is very clever and ABSOLUTELY SUPERB. Link to comment
sammm 0 Posted November 30, 2003 In the photoshopping process, I think some perspective was lost -- the way the cheekbone on the left sits, in particular, seems to distort her face slightly. Link to comment

gildas_richard 0 Posted December 1, 2003 I do not speak quite English, But this is not a photograph but a drawing entirely carried out with photoshop. I have to work of many hours to carry out this drawing. Regards Gildas Link to comment

mark lucas 0 Posted December 1, 2003 Why, then, have you submitted it on "photo".net? Link to comment
bob_pictaker 1 Posted December 1, 2003 I can appreciate the amount of effort that went into this drawing. However, as you said "this is not a photograph", this is in fact an illustration. You did list a camera used to create this image, so I'll ask if the original photograph was taken by you? Link to comment
john_timlin1 0 Posted December 1, 2003 Enough manufactured people! Aren't mannequins disturbing enough? Just cut it out. Link to comment
markw 0 Posted December 1, 2003 The saying goes sh___ floats to the top. As in many cases before, the work that deserves the least attention winds up at the top of the ratings. Link to comment
