Thanks for your critique 3/3 but it doesn't really mean much with out constructive criticism. You can't really expect me to take a 3/3 or you seriously as a photographer when you dont even bother to take the time to comment and leave constructive criticism.

U rate my shot as originality 2!!!!How u can see the matter is over,this is really my point of view perhaps not excellent but not as well as 2,it seems to me ur not very able to shot......

Vary expressive face. I like the background and the colours. light grey whith very little black.

Not knowing this old man, and being unaware of the story behind this picture, I find little to either touch or impress me here.

 

The light is hard, focus point is on the wrist instead of the face, the eyes are hard to see, and it is siting dead center.

 

The crop leaves the impression of discomfort, maybe this was the point?

 

Mind you, if this were a picture of one of my great uncles or a grand dad, I would probably cherish it, but I suspect its value to the photographer is much larger than for the rest of the world because we are lacking context. This is why I ranked it only 3/3.

Nice shot, maybe the shadows are to harsh though. He kinda looks like inspector Columbo ;)

I really dig the contrast in this photo..

Black and White was a very good choice. I like it very much.

A man whose face looks well traveled. I like the contrast and sharpness that gives the viewer some nice details to explore.
