michaellinder 16,613 Posted September 5, 2019 Ken, this probably is mere coincidence, but several days ago, I was looking at some classic b&w images of NYC architecture. This image reminds me of both those images and the architecture. The texture mostly in the sky is analogous to grain that you would have obtained had you used film. I love how you composed this image, also. The perspective gives the impression that you could have been lying horizontally when you took the shot. - - My best, michael Link to comment
Ken Ratcliffe 109,094 Posted September 5, 2019 Michael, many thanks for your kind comment. Your observations about NYC architecture and the texture in the sky are so accurate, this was taken some 30 years ago on film, somewhere near the Empire State Building (though not lying on my back). The architecture in NYC is so unique and at times mind blowing, pleased you appreciate my efforts. Best regards Ken. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted September 7, 2019 And to me it reminds me of Gotham City. Very dramatic. As if Batman already is staring down at us from above on top of the building. Link to comment
