I like the suggested symbolism under the whole thing. And the title is fit for a famous painting. And a portrait being painted is actually what is going on. And look how the adults are observing in adoration and making themselves passive bystanders. And the child? she will one day understand it all very well. And use it to her advantage, of course. Rather sofisticated!
