"Rain" Catcher

Bumbershoot Festival in Seattle on Labor Day weekend. The day was hot. The crowd was mellow. The fountain was glorious, showering its cooling waters over those who frolic beneath its massive dome structure. I sat on the basins edge watching the children play tag with the erratic waters. A less timid child reached up hopeful to catch a cup of its rain.
