An apt title, Ken. There are two, simultaneously running stories. First, each of the subjects is engaged in a different activity, even though both are walking. Secondly, and more interestingly, the image implicitly describes their respective personas. The man holding the cell phone to his ear in all likelihood a middle-class businessman making contact with his office or with a customer. On the other hand, the dog walker's appearance is far more interesting,. The bandana covering his head, the armfuls of tattoos, and the skull on his vest is a possible sign of his involvement (past or present, or both) in a motorcycle club or gang. On a final note, I wonder whether you considered a b&w conversion. - - My best, michael

Pleased you agree that the contrasting personas do indeed add interest and meaning to the image and your comments endorse those thoughts. I've attached a b&w conversion which I did consider but opted for colour. Best regards Ken.
