richard.lord 0 Posted November 26, 2003 Nice image mate! Contrast and composition are great, and I really like the duck in the foreground, giving the eye something to focus on. Well done! Link to comment
stp 6 Posted November 27, 2003 I like this image. Another interesting view, had the duck been cooperative, would have it sitting/swimming in side profile (or even better, obliquely toward the camera). Link to comment
adi1 0 Posted November 27, 2003 A very good capture of a foggy mood... A fine black or gray frame would, IMO, help to outstand this image even better.Regards, Link to comment
frank_whittle1 0 Posted November 27, 2003 Nice shot. I think you can safely ignore the marks of 3 and 4 my a Mari Liis.(her averages are 3.65 and 3.53)I thought she must have some good work, but alas she's another who marks low and has no work of her own on display. Still, probably feeds her ego. Link to comment
bmudd 0 Posted November 27, 2003 Thanks for all your kind words!! I must say Frank that even if certain people for whatever reason give bad ratings, it kind of puts the good ones into perspective, it helps you appreciate peoples positiveness about your work. If everyone only gave good ratings then maybe it would become predictable and less exciting. Also I think if we all welcomed bad rating as a good thing it might put off the people who are only doing it to offend or upset!! Kind regards to everyone,Brendan Link to comment
anarch_ima 0 Posted November 28, 2003 A beautiful photograph. You really manage to find the attraction in all that bleakness. Well done. Link to comment

rochelle_ballard 0 Posted December 12, 2003 Hard to get anything to pick on. The duck adds a touch of life ... to welcome the day break. Congratulations. Link to comment
ciofalo 0 Posted December 26, 2003 The photo is quite moody, but, to be honest, I would have liked a bit more contrast in the left (and closer) part of the image, leaving the very low contrast to the farther background on the right. In my opinion, this would convey the feeling of fog more than the uniform low contrast adopted in the current photo. Link to comment
