vincentoiseau 83 Posted June 20, 2019 Hi Todd, a photo that is beautiful because it has very limited sharpness, which goes well with the subject matter. It's the feeling of a nice glass of wine rather than the glass or the wine itself that is the subject here, which you masterfully photographed. Well done! Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
Todd Kraenzel 1 Posted June 21, 2019 Hi Vincent, thank you for your terrific comments! I am glad that you liked it. I am making a point to seek out ordinary things and attempt to take interesting photos of them like you, Franz and so many others do on this website. Warmest regards, Todd Link to comment

Todd Kraenzel 1 Posted June 22, 2019 Timo, thank you for your nice comments! Yes, the wine was delicious. Knowing that you are a fellow Pentaxian, I want to let you know that this was one of my first shots with my most recently acquired lens, an FA 50mm f2.8 macro that I bought a week ago. What a fantastic lens it is! Incredibly sharp and beautiful bokeh. Warmest regards, Todd Link to comment
Timo Hartikainen 556 Posted June 23, 2019 Todd, it seems to be an excellent lens, I really like that out-of-focus area in the bottom right corner, where the glass and wine are rendered beautifully. Link to comment
Todd Kraenzel 1 Posted June 23, 2019 Timo, yes it is a terrific lens. Although I have the DFA 100mm macro which is an excellent lens, the 50mm macro opens up a lot of macro opportunities that the 100mm is just too long for. Link to comment
