wolfgangarnold 142 Posted June 12, 2019 Markku, I prefer this one (compared to the wide-angle / wider crop version). The wooden poles seem to approach from both sides - almost as if they are planning an attack on the crane hiding beyond the mound. Link to comment
mark_q 0 Posted June 12, 2019 Wolfgang, Good to know your opinion, my personal preference as well. That second version was shot a couple days later with my camera on tripod, lifted high up by my right hand while mobile phone with remote control app in my left hand in hope to get more of that crane exposed. Unfortunately it was moved further away so my effort was not paying off. Because of the evening sun illuminating foreground I opted this composition. This it how sometimes compromises needed... And: at least when I try to further improve a good photo or frame, I usually fail... still, I keep trying... every now and then, the effort pays off. Link to comment
