ciofalo 0 Posted November 25, 2003 Magnificent. I believe the toning really adds to this photo... look at those nice A ratings! This is one of those images that one should behold as large prints - the 4 Mbytes of the Canon PS G3 will surely allow an 8"x10", but I am not sure that larger formats would still kick. Let us know! jimmcnitt 0 Posted November 25, 2003 Hi Martin: I agree with Michele (for the second time this wee). The suble duotoning has really added a new dimension to this. The light rays, in particular, seem more obvious and stand out in better contrast to the clouds. What I like the most is that, except for a few faint clues, this could just as well have been taken in 1853 as 2003. A classic! --jim Link to comment
neild 1 Posted November 26, 2003 I thought this might be Edinburgh. I've only ever been there once, for one day, but this is quite distinctive (this shot has more sunshine than I remember though). Link to comment
derek_l. 0 Posted November 26, 2003 Nice shot! I especially like it because I have stood on this very spot and looked over the city. Nice lighting...my days in Edinburgh were a bit rainy and overcast. Good pic overall! Link to comment

nabil_ezz 0 Posted December 12, 2003 This a great photograph for monocrom ( as it is appear on my screen-not sepia } the rays of light in the sky stand out the contrast and the tones of the cloud, and acts a successful background for the castle and the other building around it.Good work.
