vincentoiseau 80 Posted April 1, 2019 The Orval abbey, almost hidden in the Gaume region of southern Belgium, is a must-see if you are in the area. The abbey exists of the ruins you see in this photo and of a newer part, built in the early 20th century. The ruins can be visited without many restrictions; you can almost go anywhere you want and discover wonderful corners of this edifice (I will post some photos soon), e.g. almost perishing walls with plants and flowers growing on them. Your comments are very welcome. Link to comment

vincentoiseau 80 Posted April 6, 2019 Hi Pierre, Thank you for writing a nice comment on this photo, that doesn't seem to be ' hittin' the note'. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
pablowarko 1 Posted August 6, 2019 I think the abbey fits very well into the image with wonderful colors and light. The contrast adds a lot of depth to the scene, Vincent. Have a great week, Paul. Link to comment
vincentoiseau 80 Posted August 6, 2019 Hi Paul, thank you for your friendly comments! In this region, sudden changes of weather are very common; that often brings chances of photographing cloudy skies with bursts of sunlight. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
