vincentoiseau 83 Posted March 30, 2019 To me, the appeal of blossom is in the abundance. Especially trees can have so many flowers it almost seems impossible. This is an old cherry tree that once a year looks like this, having thousands of white flowers. Your comments are very welcome. Link to comment
tai 3 Posted March 30, 2019 Beautiful bloom shot, Vincent! Remarkably captured! Inflorescences and dark branches made an interesting almost regular texture. Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted March 30, 2019 Hi Tatiana, Thank you for your friendly comment! This cherry tree is pretty old, but seeing the blossom each year induces a feeling of eternal youth. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted March 30, 2019 Hello Vincent, Now normally an image like this without a main focus subject tends to get less attention than others, however the way you've captured it with very fine and clear details plus the contrasting darkness of the tree limbs makes this standout and very beautiful in my eyes. So there is a subject, the whole image ;-) Well done sir......................Best Always, Holger Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted March 30, 2019 Hi Holger, the subject is indeed the whole image...blossoms everywhere. Photographic rules are fine as a guideline, but sometimes you have to let your instinct prevail over what is conventional. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment

pablowarko 1 Posted January 7, 2020 Fantastic colors and light, Vincent. The blossoms contrast so well against the sky and tree branches. A wonderful picture book image with a visually stimulating presentation. Best regards, Paul. Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted January 7, 2020 Hi Paul, thank you for your comments on this photo! This isn't a very original image in style, but the blossom was quite overwhelming and I liked the variety in patterns of the branches interacting with the groups of flowers. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
