Actually this wasn't taken with my Sony digital camera, this is an old image I took using a regular SLR and a Fish eye lens about 13 years ago.

Very cool, I'm guessing you've forgotten what hardware you shot on originally? Looks super wide though and bright enough to capture some of the background detail without losing the subject. Did you ever submit this to mags? It totally captures the essence and appeal of ramps.

Thanks for the comment. Actually I do remember, it was a 16mm Sigma fish eye on a Ricoh body. I used to have my own skateboarding magazine called "Fish Eye" in highschool. My father was a printer :) And yes I have submitted to Transworld Skateboarding Magazine in 1990 and they used one of my images full page for an article. I was SO happy, but looking back I think they ripped me off, they only paid $50 for a full page B&W. Oh well, I still treasure it though. Thanks again,

Awsome shot todd. this makes me just want to drop my DSLR and pic up my 30 year old film camera W/ B&W film in it. the lighting is awsome, did you just use an on camera flash? I am digging the contrast on it. Are all your skate shots this good? You should post some more.
