Nice work. It tells a story in an enigmatic way. The photo has a personal style and perspective, conveys mood, and comes together as a mystery of parts but very much a whole as well.

I like the soft detail and the absence of bright whites. To me, these elements give the image a melancholic atmosphere. But its real strength, in my opinion - with the exception of the bird, is the odd angles of the structures and the lone human figure. Congratulations, Alexander.

I am puzzled , I do not know if I am looking at an old black and white photo or to a resent one shot through a puddle of water in the ground or something else, a reflection .

In fact there are so many elements in the photo to suggest to me at least that this is a reflected photo through mostly water , and I guess too it must be a crop from a larger canvas, in any case it gave me many feelings, of different kinds about a single frame.

Regards.

Many thanks to everyone for looking and commenting. To Saad Salem: In June 2003 , me and my wife walked around The Brooklyn bridge. The rain just stopped. I made a lot of shots with my Canon EOS 5000. Finished couple of roll films. 5-6 shots reflection in the puddle of water after rain. For print I selected this one.Thank you.
