vincentoiseau 83 Posted March 2, 2019 You probably have seen a lot of of this duck species, since it is present almost everywhere in the northern hemisphere. This is the male, with the typical green-colored head and brown chest lit by the sun. Your comments are very welcome. Link to comment
pablowarko 1 Posted December 14, 2019 Lovely colors throughout the image, Vincent. Excellent focus on the eye and perfect feather detail. Looks like it had it's eye on you. The broken water surface creates an enclosure in contrast to the smooth, placed side. The image flows without any interruptions. I like the composition very much because it looks like the bird transits along very naturally. I would say it's perfect. Best regards, Paul. Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted December 14, 2019 Hi Paul, thank you for your friendly comments! I appreciate all your insightful comments and attention to my photos very much. This mallard floated into my field of view very slowly, in beautiful winter light, showing the magnificent green of its head. It was an easy shot, I was in a blind. I only think I overdid the noise reduction a bit. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
