Really good street work, Holger. I'm quite impressed by the composition and, especially, the clear focus and sharpness of the area where the young women are having their chat while the rest of the frame is soft. I also like how the poles on the right led my eye to the bench in the background and, as a result, made me curious about what's going on there. Finally, there's an interesting coincidence between the pink sneakers and shirt of one of the women and several pink flowers in front of the garbage receptacle. - - My best always, michael

Very good observation on the flowers and the girls attire Michael, I actually missed that myself. There's so much to see and take in down by this little waterfront park, you never know what you'll find. In this case I found people. See you soon.................Holger

Hi Holger,

I immediately saw this was your photo, knowing the B & W image you made on the same location with a group of elderly people. Although you have used the relatively large focal length of your lens to make the group of young women stand out against the fore- and background here too, the result is very different because of the dynamic of your four subjects sitting on the pavement, knowing there are benches to sit on. They are so deeply involved in their conversation they don't notice you or the people in the background, whereas the group of elderly people was interacting with their surroundings. I like the documentary style of the photo which shows a certain type of behaviour that is directly recognizable. Well done! Kind regards, Vincent

Vincent thank you very much for the in depth observation and comment. I enjoy going down to the waterfront when the weather turns warmer because I never know what I'll find. People going about their lives is always interesting. I appreciate your support. See you soon.............Holger
