vincentoiseau 83 Posted January 21, 2019 Hi Laurent, I saw some other pictures of this snow-blowing contraption, but I like this one best. In this photo you have used the light of the sunset very well to show exactly what is happening. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted January 22, 2019 [[show-photo-18518859]] Vincent...Thank you for the observation. As you note,I shot several frames of this snow blower in action and selected this one where the sun peeked through a gap in the downpour curtain to play with saturation in PP.I have attached for your perusal another shot where the snow is shot out in the side chute rather than the upper chute and this makes for a more explosive projection;I have worked the shadows to show the dynamics of the snow as it is exits at high speed...hope you like!Salutations-Laurent Link to comment

hstelljes 41 Posted January 22, 2019 Maybe even more spectacular than the original version but that had such classic composition it's hard to top. But this is very nice Laurent..............BR, Holger Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted January 22, 2019 Holger...Thank you kindly. These big guys are brought in to widen the cuts after the regular snow removal gear has done the essential or when there is too much snow for the regular equipment to handle. These move along very slowly so one can actually walk alongside(make sure the driver knows) and shoot away as the snow is projected;on a really windy day, this can be spectacular and when the operator sees anyone with the camera,he'll surely make the right cut for the best show.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
