John Peri 1,039 Posted January 7, 2019 Jack, you have created an amazing abstract out of this scene .. truly very well seen, composed and photographed. Link to comment
patrickcompagnucci 30 Posted January 7, 2019 Jack, Beautifully done. The different tones of white just make this photo for me. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted January 7, 2019 Thanks John and Patrick. I was wondering if this abstract would get any comments and so I'm gratified with your response. I rather like it myself. Link to comment
michaellinder 16,613 Posted January 7, 2019 Jack, if you found this in a bathroom, it still would make a fine abstract. The catch would involve your tossing the words "parking lot," and substituting "bathroom." This image convincingly demonstrate that the potential for shooting abstract photos is anywhere and anywhere. You found a real gem! Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted January 7, 2019 Thanks Michael. I said just about the same thing in my comment on your wine class stem and shadow. Great minds think alike :-)) Link to comment
Zbigniew Tyburczy - ZT 6 Posted January 8, 2019 Jack, I have to admit, You have your own unique style! Perfect example of creative photography without using any kind of photographic tricks or advanced PP. Simply-essence of good photography! Regards, ZT, Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted January 10, 2019 In all seriousness: This piece should be in a museum. This IS contemporary "life" magically metamorphosed into "contemporary art". It is one of your sharpest, strongest throws to home plate. The haste, the homogeneity and unconnected, except while they walk through the grid. With due respect for ALL of your work, this is, for me, ONE OF THE VERY BEST your trajectory (whatever when I started learning and communicating). Bowing respectfully. Ooooossss! DG Link to comment
donna pallotta 108 Posted January 10, 2019 Jack, I've got to agree with Daniel with this one... nice piece of contemporary abstract, which you often do so well... i like the perspective on the parallel vehicles moving straight with the road lines to smash into the evil face, lol ;-} dp Link to comment
