Moonlight image. Exposure determined using propiatary methods, 2/3 stop underexposure given for effect. Moonlight brightness LV=-3.40. 10 minutes 40 seconds at f/10. 22mm lens focal length. Other than some slight burning in using Photoshop, this is a straight single exposure in the camera image.

This is one of a series of moonlight landscape images I've been

doing lately. There is no trickery involved, the entire image was

made with a single exposure with the camera, and the only thing

done to it in Photoshop was a bit of sharpening. The intent is to

show motion of man in the landscape, or to place modern man

in the landscape in a way that fits urban attitudes. Exposure

determined by propriatary methods, but was set 2/3 stop

underexposed to enhanse the feeling of night. Fuji Provia 100F

film, exposure 10 min 40 sec at f/10 with a Cannon EF 17-35

lens at 22mm focal length.

good night shot, i've been experimenting alittle with night photography myself....i am very interested in this propiatary method you talk about, i havent heard about this yet....

Kit, I like the way you do timelapse car shots in the desert. It's refreshing to see this type of work away from the city.
