michaellinder 16,613 Posted December 20, 2018 Everything is off kilter in this photo. The blue door is not entirely centered under the windows. The utility conduit on the right side has no twin. On the left, the grate is rectangular, but.elongated. But, on the right the grate, while rectangular, doesn't have as dramatic a longer side. And you expect us to believe that the man is walking while holding a phantom cellphone? Perhaps this may be the case in some other reality? Quirky, really quirky! Link to comment

vincentoiseau 83 Posted December 20, 2018 Hi Jack, apart from the funny title that triggered my curiosity, this photo works well for me. You have placed this pedestrian against the blue doors, walking a line in the pavement in a greater world of lines and planes with subdued colors. It's almost if you directed this fellow in his role in a geometrical drama. Well done but in particular well seen! Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
mark_q 0 Posted December 21, 2018 In my book this is a masterpiece: the sparse, muted surrounding, perfect moment of step, powerful contrast by all black and then white bag to give "Zing" to the whole. You are still on good roll, Jack. Link to comment

hstelljes 41 Posted December 22, 2018 Your title drew me in as well as the thumbnail. This has a timeless feel for some reason. Maybe the uncluttered look and good composition melded with your funny title, whatever, I like it..............BR, Holger Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted December 22, 2018 Hi Jack: Who says a picture to "be centered" is.....not good? This is IMHO a masterfully centered image, whereby looking at the center, all the background acquires the same relevance. By the way, the personage / persona is just exceptional. Powerful message in your capturing this highly unique photograph. Simply WOW. DG Link to comment
