Mr. Lemon

This is Mr. Lemon. Won by my dad on his entry ticket to a funfair

years ago. he's about 1m tall and a very patient model:) Photographed

in daylight, outside up against a black woodden wall.

Would have been excellent. Do it again without blowing out the white.

Beautiful color and composition. I agree it would be worthwhile to shoot this again, exactly as you did, except bracket by underexposing in 1/2-stop increments to keep the white area just above the black nose from going to pure textureless white :-)
