Your exposure is very good on this, Michele. The colors give this scene such a festive feeling, what a great idea they have to highlight the buildings this way! Why wait until next Christmas? All I have to do is pack my bags :-)

Lovely bright colors and I like the overall composition except for the bottom portion which seems a little busy to my eye (especially all those cars) so I took the liberty of offering a slightly different cropped alternative. Hope you don't mind! Let me know what you think?

The exposure is well done. Try taking from the same location during sunset so you can show the evening sky against the lighted buildings.

Michele, I agree with you too. I also like the arches, too bad about the cars.

I'm seeing through the interesting color...and what I'm seeing is a very busy scene(cars, excess junk), and a mediocre composition. The top portion of the hill is far too black as well, making for a uninteresting dark 1/4 of the frame.

 

Its a beautiful night scene, just not handled very carefully-imo. cheers

Un'altra dele tue riuscite riprese notturne. Ma questa è superiore a quelle che ho visto finora, per la varietà di luci e colori che fanno respirare un'aria vitale di festa notturna. Merita di essere valorizzata con una adeguata cornice. Complimenti, Michè!

Nice colors, but I didn't see any interesting composition in it. Maybe emphasizing the difference in color for the foreground (a detail, wall...) vs background would have improved the photo.

Michele, nice pick of this colourful night scene !

 

Perhaps it's too much to be described in one picture - a usual point to be criticised because the viewer's eyes keeps jumping around various "interesting" points !!

 

One option you can take is to describe those "focal points" by "one by one" so that the viewer's eye is "not so tiring". Magarette has proposed one crop which I agree and i think it is still quite pleasing.

 

I am not so sure whether the car park is worth describing but certainly i would attempt another shot with the arches on the left. What I may do is putting the red arch in the "golden 1/3" and using the lower arch at foreground - i don't know whether that is possible by taking it from a lower angle.

...dalle tue parti appena posso ci torno sempre. Ad esempio il mese scorso ho fatto Agerola, Nocelle, Positano...tutto a piedi attraversando il sentiero degli Dei. Poi, avendo lasciato l'auto ad Agerola ho preso l'autobus fino ad Amalfi ed infine di nuovo Agerola. Nei miei modesti viaggetti mi e' capitato pochissime volte di vedere l'uomo inserirsi in modo perfetto in uno scenario naturale dando luogo a contesti paesaggistici da lasciarti senza fiato per la loro bellezza.

La foto, beh posso solo dire che e' Stupenda.
