michaellinder 16,613 Posted October 10, 2018 Dave, this image certainly deserves being designated an Editor's Pick. I find a dramatic difference in appearance between where the subject is standing and the shoreline and vegetation toward the bottom right. It seems to me you wanted to depict the subject's pose as a gentle one, as if she's string to blend in with the environment. This clearly contrasts with the detail in the other area I mentioned. I'm also very impressed by the subdued colors. (For whatever it's worth, this image is going into my Favorites and is getting an "Admire".) Link to comment
httpwww.photo.netphoto1664877843 0 Posted June 24, 2019 while i admire your excellent work , i am old school i know that today post processing is a must or you lose business , however of the ones i have seen this is an example of simplicity and beauty it almost look right out of the camera , great work in my humble opinion . daveacton 0 Posted June 28, 2019 Thank you Alberto. I enjoy the compositing as a way to just expand the joy of working with your shots. You get the fun of the original shoot and then the post. One thing I have also learned is it is a great way to learn composition and often I recall a composite arrangement and then employ the lessons learned in a future shoot. Thanks again. Link to comment
