Autumn orange

The orange leaves of this beech stood out against the evergreen fir trees. Shot on a tripod with an Olympus Zuiko 14-54 mm 2.8-3.5 lens.

The leaves are a nice vibrant color that accentuates the trees position in the image, Vincent. The bent trunk is in direct contrast to the straight structure of the evergreen trees. The composition makes the Beech tree the predominant article in the scene. A well structured and presented photo. Best regards, Paul.

Hi Paul,

thanks for another great comment on one of my photos! The orange color of the leaves was what struck me first, I saw the juxtaposition of the bent trunk against the fir trees when I was setting up my tripod. It was pretty dark that day. Kind regards, Vincent
