I like the shapes, but the wood looks artificially aged, it doesn't have enough relief.

Could be, the church recived some restoration a few years back. And this door looked like it had been given some "paint". Anyway it's treated with something and it needs to becouse of the climate up here, and it's practicly sitting on the beach.

Nothing boring about this image. The ancient shape of this lock and ironwork is what gives this photo its appeal. The wood is also a nice touch and texture isn't bad. Only thing I would've liked to see different is the upper half which seems like it could've used a polarizing filter to remove some of the slight glare. This is really very nice!
