Prairie Church

This is the first shot I've had developed in about 3 years...

 

Hoping to improve my technique to begin adding photography to the

articles I write.

good photo, the composition and exposure are great. good angle on the camera, good sky.

great perspective, composition and colors. Only thing I think distracts a little is the burned highlights in the sky to the right of the church.

A wonderful perspective to the Christian ethic, "the path to salvation is a strait and narrow way!" Perfect for that purpose.

I like the shadows on the ground a lot, great timing.

I like your image. It reminds me a bit of Ansel Adams' church at Bodega, California. If I may be allowed to nitpick, I would have like to see the church lower in the frame with more sky, since the sky seems so great. Alternatively, it might have been nice to have the church much more prominent in the frame by moving closer and lowering the camera nearer the ground. Nevertheless, it's a fine shot and I wish I could make more photographs that are this good.
