ciofalo 0 Posted November 15, 2003 Excellent. I would call it a day, if your daily photo hunt ended up even with this alone. Surely you have already considered the opportunity of cropping out the highlights in the upper right corner to get a more tonally balanced picture - I am aware that this would destroy the nice square composition, and this probably was your conclusion too. davidhudson 0 Posted November 16, 2003 It's great just as it is!---The light refraction through the water give it motion.---Great colours too!!---I like the red of the leaf very much. Link to comment

kslonaker 0 Posted November 16, 2003 Nice composition! The leaf makes the shot. The clarity of the water and interesting lighting effects add to the overall pleasing look to this. Link to comment
audah 0 Posted November 16, 2003 I love this image very much, simple but nice. The spring leaf floating on the water is excellent and the color make it special. Congratulations, really nice! Thanks for sharing it - Abdul Link to comment

jim_lane 0 Posted November 18, 2003 Beautiful shot; the play of the light is great, and the leaf is placed just right. That odd reflection in the upper right is slightly distracting in the large version; can't decide if I like it for adding interest or dislike it for drawing attention from the leaf. Link to comment

diana_wiersma1 0 Posted November 25, 2003 It is amazing how a simple single leaf can be so beautiful. It is the way you have composed it and I want to compliment you with this! Great work! Greetings from The Netherlands, Diana. Link to comment

michael_batten 0 Posted March 19, 2004 I keep returning to this picture. It has a dreamy quality that perhaps allows the viewer to sort of float along while viewing the softly twisted light patterns punctuated by that single leaf. Love the colors. This is very special shot. Thanks Link to comment
matthew_lin 0 Posted September 4, 2004 Great compoistion and well seen. The gradual change of the light level from top to bottom worked very well in this photo. Link to comment
