Leaf, Water, and Light

Excellent. I would call it a day, if your daily photo hunt ended up even with this alone. Surely you have already considered the opportunity of cropping out the highlights in the upper right corner to get a more tonally balanced picture - I am aware that this would destroy the nice square composition, and this probably was your conclusion too.

Very striking image. Catches the eye immediately.

Beautiful shot; the play of the light is great, and the leaf is placed just right. That odd reflection in the upper right is slightly distracting in the large version; can't decide if I like it for adding interest or dislike it for drawing attention from the leaf.

I keep returning to this picture. It has a dreamy quality that perhaps allows the viewer to sort of float along while viewing the softly twisted light patterns punctuated by that single leaf. Love the colors. This is very special shot. Thanks
