Entering the Forest of Eden

Without trying to come across as a zealot, I find this composition a reminder that putting faith in a higher power to control the aspects of life I can't, allows the daily anxieties to dissipate.

Highly imaginative as always but also somewhat disturbing, however that may be a matter of interpretation. Is it closeness to nature or is she outnumbered by the foe .. with so much beauty surrounding her, I would go for the former of the two, so often danger is perceived where it does not exist. I played with a python in Kenya at seven years old, until the adults discovered it and killed it .. often it is us that is the evil party and us alone.

Is this woman aware that there are arachnids crawling on her body? I admire her ability to maintain the pose under such circumstances. As to the theme you mentioned, Jack, the image certainly fits. As for me, I'd rather think that the scene is one in which there seems to be harmony between a person and nature. Regardless of its message, I find the image very well crafted.
