rita_borg 0 Posted November 14, 2003 thank you sweets, glad you like it. it was really easy to shoot actually, two days ago while at work, back in the studio's backyard to be exact, hehehe. i just set the lil digi cam on a tripod, hung a piece of material in the back as a backdrop, got a different coloured one and threw it around me and got crazy as usual =0). then cropped it a lil bit in ps and also changed hue and saturation and voila' i got my new set of business cards ;0) Link to comment
francescomartini 0 Posted November 15, 2003 A parte il colore bellissimo e insolito dell'immagine, anche essa bellissima...mi viene voglia di prendere il primo aereo per Malta!!!!! Link to comment
luisarguelles 0 Posted November 15, 2003 Ths is an excellent "soft" composition enhanced by an elegant election of colors. Congrats! Link to comment
jimmcnitt 0 Posted November 15, 2003 The incredible geometry of shapes, the unique but perfectly balanced composition and -- oh -- the smile in those eyes. You have a great gift Rita -- not to mention great inner beauty that radiates through all your work! --jim Link to comment

laura2 0 Posted November 16, 2003 You're gorgeous! :) I like the haircolor..I actually dyed my hair that color this month and it works so well with dark brown eyes. :) The cream of the covering works well with the color of your hair. Great pic, very exposing of your personality. :) Link to comment

michele_perone 0 Posted November 17, 2003 Colori e taglio della foto deliziosi. Meno piacevole il taglio dei capelli. Il volto riscatta i capelli e accende la foto. Mi piace molto anche la cornice asimmetrica. Link to comment
John Peri 1,038 Posted November 23, 2003 The photo is great, the PS work is well done .... but most of all, the model is unique! And DONT dye your hair!! Link to comment
mike werkhoven 0 Posted November 24, 2003 hay rita, maybe this is a bit disapointing comment, since so many reaction sounds very positive. you show a rather nice portfolio with lots of variation, interest in people, fine eye for details and tastfull spots. your work seems very optimistic and color seems a part of yourself. so, why this povre portrait of yourself, you should fill and cover yourself with plenty color and dearing objects. in this way your just a shampoo (photoshop) ad. your a pritty person with attractive work, you have the risk people don`t rate your work anymore, but your magic apperence. stay critical. black is black, ripple and sea of flowers have my love, very nice eye, there is, ME SELF, the best. mike Link to comment
rita_borg 0 Posted November 25, 2003 ummmm, i'm kind of confused, sorry mike, didn't quite get what you are trying to say, you say it is a poor portrait yet on the other hand you call it THE BEST, or is it something else you are referring to? pls explain....especially when you say that there is a risk that people won't rate my work anymore! why is that?! is it just because i put up a portrait of my own? am i THAT ugly? lol.......DAMN! Regards Rita. Link to comment
mike werkhoven 0 Posted November 25, 2003 no rita on the contrary, selfportraing is very good, as it is done in all arts even in the music there are artists try to explain themselfs in sound and rhythem. and if you have time to visit my portfolio you will find my mugshots too. what i treid to say is that your outside is very nice, so be easy on the effects, you don`t need them in this way. but if you would ad something to your image in "content" ( telling something about yourself) you should, as me conserned, fill and cover yourself with plenty of color and dearing objects. say your portrait as a stillife. as i wrote before you gifted in more ways, that makes it difficult to confront you, or nicer said "they respect you to much". since my native lenguage is not english, i might be misunderstood, i hope i was a bit more clear now. yours, mike.
