Christian, I've been looking at this awhile, and I can't tell whether the guy is enchanted by what he's viewing or just enjoying posing for the camera. In either case, I think it's a fine photo. What is that in the center of his upper lip?

Very nice candid shot. You were either very clever or very lucky with the expression and with the background. The only minor reservation is that the temples are more in focus than the eyes or the mouth. I just wonder whether the subject is liking it ...

There's a scar I think on his upperlip. He sat there along a river one day I was in a very small village in Sweden. I took this photo while trying to interview him on "villagelife", a very interesting man indeed.

How did you do the bw conversion (desaturate then channel mix?)

Thanks all! I'm not sure since this was like 3-4 months ago but I think it is an original B/W photo taken with that mode on the Fuji S2.

It`s amazing.It has real power.

There's just a lot of naturalness in this image.
