Dutch 'polder' farmland.

Wide angle view of the grasslands near my hometown. The old pole is in fact a very old railway part. Now you can find many of them acting as fencepost or something similar. What I like so much about this shot is the reflection of the clouds and partly obscured sun in the water, with the pole creating real depth to the shot and the addition of the fresh green grass. Some alldutch black&white cows would have been nice, but unfortunately since we had an outbreak of foot&mouth disease cows were still locked up in the barn. The only thing I am not totally happy about is the curving of the grassland due to the wide angle used (24mm).www.amazingnature.nl

No, not velvia but provia 100F. Grass in this time of year (may) is always that green overhere, plenty of water around in our country......
