kevinbriggs 0 Posted November 13, 2003 Very nice job Stan! Love the tonality and the overall feel of this one. Link to comment
atkphotoworks 0 Posted November 13, 2003 Stan this is a fantastic photo. I love the contrast between the row of tall grown trees against small one across the middle. The photo reminds me of the Canadian winter. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted November 14, 2003 Amar, strange, that it should do that:) I do agree with your description of it, that little tree is essential to the success of this one. I've also looked at this one desaturated & think I like it even better as colour does nothing for this one that tones-only wouldn't. Love the mood & the crop. Nice photo Stan. Best, LM. stan milosevic 0 Posted November 14, 2003 Thanks for all the comments. I appreciate every little bit of it. I'm just starting to take my photography seriously now and trying to do some creative stuff. And, Len, I think you are right, desaturation does help the photo. Stan Link to comment

tad doxsee 0 Posted November 15, 2003 A very well balanced composition. I like the hint of color. Link to comment
ivan colman 0 Posted November 15, 2003 I have my doubts about the function of the small tree on the left. If it was not there I would have rated the aestetics at least one point higher Link to comment
dominic_. 1 Posted November 19, 2003 I love the erethral atmosphere and lonliness caused by the mist and the lone small tree to the left side of the photograph. I think black and white was an excellent choice here and I do not believe this image would have worked in colour. The composition in this photograph is also excellent as well as the contrast. Excellent work! Best wishes, --Dominic Link to comment
thestory 0 Posted November 19, 2003 I love this one. Mood is really soft and really good framing Link to comment
Mike Marcotte 50,782 Posted November 28, 2003 Outstanding composition Stan. Couldn't have been better if you'd planted that tree yourself. Link to comment
stan milosevic 0 Posted November 28, 2003 I was this close to repositioning myself to get that little tree out of the way. I'm still not sure if I made the best decision but lots of people seem to like it this way. Link to comment
earl_hubbard 0 Posted December 4, 2003 The little tree makes the picture, for me. Thanks. Earl Link to comment
