animalu 0 Posted August 7, 2001 That's a bird. Looks more obvious in a larger print :) Link to comment
g1 0 Posted August 8, 2001 Excellent subject material & brilliant comp, but for me the high contrast really spoils it. Just my subjective experience, & I'm really interested in what this would look like with very much lower contrast. The metal in a rural setting would be enhanced & therefore have conceptual contrast rather than extreme & restricted tonal range. Link to comment

panyitu 0 Posted September 8, 2001 In principle I agree on the contrast comment posted by Geraldine, but maybe this high contrast is trying to supply some "apocalyptic atmosphere to the shot. Yes I got carried away there, lets live it at adding some mess at the stinking river. Link to comment
cedarbough 0 Posted January 30, 2002 Love this shot! The way you've made it really high contrast really works for the subject matter. I feel like it's an old war zone-- the war on the internal combustion engine perhaps! Great! Link to comment
txay 0 Posted February 8, 2002 I am seeing part of your work here in photo.net and I really like it, I love very contrast pictures. I would want to know if you use only your Kodak DC280 or you touch up the phtotos in photoshop or other image software. I ask you this because some of the black and white pictures seems like infrared ones, and beacause I do not know much about Digital Cameras. great vision of the world. Link to comment
