The JPEG artifacts are messing the image, but I actually metered the light on her while having a strong backlight (the sun was a little bit on top, and behind her). The whole idea was to overexpose the shore. Link to comment
stuart_sherman 0 Posted November 12, 2003 Visually daring! It is clear that you know how to use a camera (one need only look at your other pictures) so I didn't question the overexposure. You've created a very powerfull image that conveys a great deal more than the sparse frame intially suggests. I always enjoy photos that challenege the viewer, and this one definitely does.
