Simple portrait by smallest Large Format.

Nice composition. I would darken the background.

With all respect to Igor, in this case I think the light background helps the subject stand out... very journalistic!

There is a lot of space on the top and you cropped his hand at the bottom. For the rest a good portrait.

Please be sure this was taken by Large Format Camera, by the same way of 100 years ago. I am enjoying this way as well as the result itself, as I can get the best correspondense with people by portrait work.

This is a very strong portrait, and extremely well done. Depth of field is absolutely perfect. I love the detail shown in the clothes. His intent and direct gaze into the lens show a strong character and intelligence, and the sort of half-smile hints at an enigmatic personality and sense of humour.

This is a favorite of mine.
