lagune di cagliari Three flamingod in fight - (Phoenicopterus ruber)

The flamingos (Phoenicopterus ruber) seem very peaceful but often they fight for the best choice of the territory in which feed. Nikon D500, Sigma supertelephoto 300-800mm , f/7,1, 1/1250 sec, ISO 100. Thanks for you comments

We have the three headed dog Cerberus who guards the gates of Hades and now we have a three headed flamingo whose heads don't seem to get along very well. An odd but memorable and beautifully presented shot.

At first look at this wonderful photo I though I was looking at an embryological anomaly! A 3 headed flamingo with the heads arguing amongst themselves. Alas, its just camera perspective.
