Tree, Self Portrait

Very interesting...I like it. At first glance, I thought it was a picture of Big Foot taking a leak on a tree ;)

 

I like that your shadow is very strong and defined. I think that the space on either side of the tree could be cropped...or somehow blacked out.

Me, too! I like it! The shadow IS very strong ... and I love that it seems to fit the width of the tree exactly. I don't mind that it's not cropped closer ... it makes the picture more interesting. By the way ... are we ever going to really get to see your face? ;-)

A self portrait for the critique circle

I like this much more than the TV-self portrait. The red flowers do bring some balance - tension in the photo. I do not understand the low ratings. They prove that the last months more and more people on photonet drift away from the creative posibilities of photography.

A very creative picture indeed, not sure about the sides picture, lose them or keep them. But the shadow on the tree is definately a winner. I agree with Ivan, I don't really understand the ratings on photo.net of recently. Not only on this picture in particular, but in general.
