Bird of Paradise afternoon

Great photo, well designed - very O'Keefe to a certain degree. I amimpressed with the rendering of the image with a nice small DOF. What lens w/ the EOS 300D?

It's the EFS lens that comes with the camera. It's funny because it hunts around in AF like the lens that came with the film Rebel. I like it well enough, but I hope to get another lens someday to compare results. Thanks for the comments.

I have the same camera, and use a Canon EF 28-105/3,5-4,5 USM and Canon EF 50/1,8 II (both highly rated but very inexpensive see: http://www.photodo.com/nav/prodindex.html ).

How do you like the 50/1.8 II? Do you have any images online from the 50? I would like to see them. I was thinking of getting that lens too.

Also there is a 50/2/5 + macro. Anyone have a macro with the 300D? I would like to see any images.

Works well as an abstract. Would like to see a little more sharpness however.
