I like how this picture is composed with only different shades of red

pixels. Please let me know what your thoughts are on this one. Thanks.

I particually thought this close-up is different than some others i have viewed. It may be the illusion of that slight lighter shade off center. I find this makes your eye travel to all four corners of the crop. The angles, the curves alot of eye stimulation going on here. Very nice and you where right about the pixels? What pixels i saw none. I would think the color and f/16 stop may be the answer of no real visible pixels. Now would the effect be the same if a bellows was not used here? all i can say is it makes you want to touch it - you can almost feel the softness of the rose on your fingertips.. i like it!

I like how you've cropped this and also the color saturation. How does it look printed out? I've been playing with digital lately, and that's my biggest struggle--to get it to print out decently on my photosmart 1000 printer. Excellent close up of a rose. It's sensual I would say. What was the original resolution of this shot? I'd be grateful to you if you could give more technical details. As far as I know your camera saves all the technical details together with the shot.
