Steps

I think this would have worked better with Tri-X or HP-5 or Neopan. I've found T-max comes out kind of flat on shots like this. Also, the hose is distracting.

perhaps its my screen. but it looks as though you have captured the texture well. i love texture shots, and the black and white film serves its purpose here. I'm not too trilled with the light rope at the right. The darker rope line is fine and actually contextualizes the image.

 

Without digitally removing the blurred rope, there really isn't anyway of getting around it unless you want to crop it out (which i wouldnt do).

 

Basically what i'm trying to say is if you could recapture the image - to do it without that blurred rope on the right.
