black and withe Madonna

I like this photo. It has some mystery. I wonder what the sculpture is made from and how the photo was made. Is it a blending of different photos?

Karl, thank you for your kind words. You are right, this pictue is combination of two photos. First one is the wooden statue against the background of brick-built wall (in an old castle). Second is a trunk of an old tree with interesting bark. All strongly desaturated and cororized afterwards.
