This photo is unmanipulated. My wife pulled her foot out of the sock, and it was left standing, just as you see...stuck in the sandal. She removed her other foot from the sock, and after we stopped laughing, I grabbed the camera and photographed the "Dirty Socks".I applied Levels in Photoshop Elements to increase contrast slightly.

We need an extra field for rating the story behind the image - this would be a 10! Knowing the stroy - I would like to see a pic of your wife after leaving this "stinky shoes" - asume the bath after this was a great pleasure ;-). Was onetime in the death valley - can imagine something of it ;-) Axel

This photo was taken on the spur of the moment. To this day, my wife and I laugh while looking at it. The socks are a very thick, stiff wool that take on a life of their own, ESPECIALLY after going 10 days without washing! Fred
