tony bell 0 Posted November 7, 2003 I'd like more information on this photo. Was this a long exposure of a naturally occuring whirlpool or was it created in PS? Link to comment
richardlowes 0 Posted November 7, 2003 I like this shot. Can you tell us more about the exposure? Time of day? Link to comment
shiqf 0 Posted November 7, 2003 Tony, the exposure time is 4s. It's original. Richard, it's in the morning. Acutally, to get longer exposure, I added the built-in ND filter in Canon G3. Link to comment
dave_nitsche 0 Posted November 7, 2003 George Lepp fan Huh? I think Lepp accomplished his shot using multiple exposures instead of a time exposure, not sure. Didn't shoot this in Harrimon State Park did ya? That would be too freaky... Nicely done. Dave PS - Oh yeah, could have come off the exposure a bit. Just a tad too overexposed... :-) Link to comment
christian deichert 1 Posted November 7, 2003 Great setting. I'd like to see some more detail in the whirlpool. Do you have a shot that was less than 4 seconds? Link to comment
red_rick 0 Posted November 7, 2003 Very nice colours in the swirl... was that natural ? Link to comment
tony bell 0 Posted November 7, 2003 Thanks for the information. I really like this shot but I'd like to see a shorter exposure (as someone said above). There is so much movement I just about get dizzy looking at it. Nice shot. Link to comment
