Dead Tree, Living Sky

This dead tree made the sunrise more interesting for me... can anyone

identify the breed / type? ;-)

I like this image very much, and the backlighting around the tree is very attractive. For a different effect sometime you may want to try exposing for the background but use a flash to illuminate the foreground. Whether you like the effect of flash with slow shutter speed is up to you, but it's a technique that often works with this type of image. I personally think the image would look nice both the way you have it and the way I describe.
